NOTICE

 

1.      Invitation of option from the pensioners retired between 1.1.06 to 2.9.08 for

commutation of pension @ 40%

           

2.   Application for revision of pension/ family pension of Pre – 2006 retirees.

 

1.         In terms of Rly. Board’s L/No. F(E) III/2008/PN-I/13 dt. 15-9-2008 as communicated vide GM(P)/MLG, N.F. Rly’s circular No. FS-992/E-205/75-VI P.C.(C) dt. 18-9-2008, options are hereby invited from the retired staff, who  retired from Rly. Service between the period 01-01-2006 to 02.09.2008, for 40 % commutation of the amount of pension that has become additionally commutable on account of retrospective revision of pay/pension on implementation of the recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission.

Hence all  pensioners who retired between 01-01-2006 to 02.09.2008 are hereby requested to submit their option to the concerned pension sanctioning authorities from where their pension was sanctioned. A specimen proforma of such application/option is furnished below as Annexure  for convenience of the pensioner.

           

2.         In terms of . Board’s L/No. F(E) III/2008/PN-I/12 dt. 18-11-2008 as communicated vide GM(P)/MLG, N.F. Rly’s circular No. FS-999/E-205/75-VI P.C.(C) dt. 26-11-2008, applications are also invited from all the pensioners & family pensioners, whose pension have been sanctioned due to retirement from railway service before 1.1.06, for revision of their pension/ family pension.

 

All pensioners/ family pensioners, who retired from railway services before 1.1.06, are  requested to submit their application in the same proforma in Annexure  with detailed correct information for revision of their pension/ family pension due to implementation of the 6th Pay Commission and submit their option to the concerned pension sanctioning authorities from where their pension was sanctioned.

 

On receipt of the option/ application by the concerned pension sanctioning office, commutation of the increased pension and revision of pension (as the case may be) will be computed and paid through the respective pension paying bank after issue of revised PPO by FA&CAO/MLG office and/ or concerned Accounts’ office of N. F. Railway/Maligaon. All pensioners are requested to submit their option/application immediately so that their commutation/ revision of pension can be processed .
